Oh my gosh, she looks so much like my (8.5-month-old) daughter! So you will know I mean it when I say that is one damn cute baby. And--excellent walking. You go, Olivia!
She is really moving! I love it! I totally understand about the hearing your own voice thing. When I video tape Layla and play it back I just die at the sound of my own voice.
OMG she is simply amazing!!! My son is going to be 6 months on Sunday and I can not even begin to picture him walking. And I agree with Aimee... it is cute that she looks for Daddy!! Super smart!
A lot of people (myself included) hate to hear their own voice on a recording. It's because it sounds so different than when you hear yourself speak and the sound is vibrating through your head.
Lucky for you, I broke the sound card on my computer months ago! So I can see the big grown up baybee, but cannot hear you. (Which is driving me crazy.)
Go, Olivia!
Now, get ready for strangers to make MORE stupid comments to you like "ooh, you'll be busy now!" like you had NOTHING to do before.
I think the voice that moms make to their babies is universal. I sound the same way, and I cringe every time I hear myself in a video talking to my baby. But it's infinitely more cute hearing other moms talk to their babies, FYI. :)
i want to rub her head! your olivia is very cute, and she's got the multitasking down pat with the walking and the sippy and the stroller and the lookin' for the daddy!

You have a nice voice, it sounds much bitchier in my head. :)
