Swing State Love

Nobody cares about Ohio until there is a presidential election.  Then everyone is all, "Hey, Ohio, your electoral votes are super sexy and your collective ass looks in those pants!"

But we love Ohio all the time.  Because Ohio is badass.  Yay for Ohio!

Cute kids AND electoral votes
like whoa.

So cute. I love those matching shirts/onesies! By the way, maybe it's just on my screen, but there's an ad on your page for Mitt Romney (I don't live in a swing state and he's not my guy!). I guess they know you're in Ohio even on the Interwebs.

This photo looks so happy and bright. And it just makes me so happy for your whole family. Great big giant hugs.

Adorable! Where did you get them? I might need them for my kids (because I *do* love Ohio, even with all of the political ads that make me want to turn off my TV or just watch the DVR all the time).

I am from a swing state too. I just learned that nonswing states have very few political ads, mailings and phone calls. today, I had 2 people knock on my door and had 8 ads in the mail.

So funny!! I'm in IL...decidedly NOT a swing state, and it's kind of boring that my vote doesn't even really count. And we have barely any Presidential ads, no phone calls, and certainly not any door to door campaigning! Good for you, Ohio!

I agree. I live in a hardcore blue state. As conservative voters, my husband and I always say our votes don't matter. Frustrating! So I think I'd feel like my vote was heard if I lived in a swing state! Cool!

And some of the previous posters are right. I've hardly seen any presidential commercials on tv. Maybe 2 or 3?? Lucky us, I guess!

Allison - they are from Cleveland Clothing Co! I was going to link up to their site but meh. I'm lazy.

I see at least one presidential ad every commercial break. It is so annoying. And they all make it seem like the "bad" candidate will rape puppies if elected. Can't wait for it to be over.

Hey, at least you get some love every four years! I live in Georgia right now, where we're so far red that nobody bothers to visit us. Stop taking us for granted, political establishment!

I live in Ohio, and I agree. We are always the state that has the worst places to live, worst job stuff, worst everything until they want us to vote! Grr. Where did you get those cute tshirts? Love em.
